Food: 4 - 4.5. Gave the overall lean to 5 because we really enjoyed ourselves. Next time we'll take advantage of the champagne/mimosa option (additional $20). I was in the area visiting a friend this past Sunday and decided for a Sunday Brunch. During brunch hours, they only offer the buffet. We were greeted immediately upon entering. Restaurant has plenty of inside and outside seating. Ambiance is on the upscale side. We were seated at a booth. The buffet is spread out near the bar area. Buffet ($40 per person) includes nonalcoholic beverages like juice and soft drinks. The buffet offerings were good with items like french toast, made-to-order egg dishes, some type of beef, bacon, ribs, assortment of salads, pizza, potatoes, cocktail shrimp, seafood soup(?), chicken dish, cut fruit, assorted desserts,... My favorites were the aforementioned beef that was cooked a perfect medium to medium rare, bacon, fall-off-the bone ribs, seafood soup(?), pizza and house salad. Food tasted like it was made to order probably because we had reservations for their opening time of 10 am. I was very happy with the food. Service was friendly and efficient. The $40 buffet price is very fair in my opinion. I like that you can choose to pay for champagne/mimosa. Many buffets include in price and thus charges more. I really liked this dining experience. Service: 4.5 Ambiance: 4.5 Value: 4.5

Wait time: arrived friday night and were seated right away. Bread: its great they bring a basket of bread with butter. But unfortunately, it tasted as if old bread was reheated. It was dry and flavorless. Food: salmon dinner and the lamb chops were VERY good...tender, flavorful, worth the price. Dessert: SKIP dessert. Although decorated beautifully,Chocolate souffle was the worst: burnt black top and undercooked inside. This is the second time i have ordered this because it used to be amazing...last time it was the same thing too....burnt outide and runny raw syrup inside. The waitor properly removed it from our bill. But the other dessert ...the brownie with ice cream was also an old brownie decorated with icecream. Such a dissapointmenr because it was a birthday dinner :(. So save yourself and order dessert a few places down at the cheesecake factory!

Brought my wife here on Friday to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. I loved my bone in ribeye with a lobster tail. My wife didn't care for her shrimp with goat cheese. She felt that the noodles soaked up the sauce. Our waiter started out great, but half way through our meal he stopped checking on us. We had to ask a waitress at the next table for help. I saw her very attentive to her tables, but ours, we hardly seen him. You would have received 5 stars if our service was better.

A friend of mine brought food over yesterday from salt Creek Grill. I haven't been in there for a few years and for some reason forget about it. Probably because my office is no longer near this restaurant, out of sight out of mind. But it never dawned on me to take it home. There is a convenient temporary curbside parking area. We both had fish which, in my opinion stole the show. I had the macadamia nut crusted trout, which came with salad. It was excellent and prepared perfectly! Whenever trout is served this way, it's fairly thin, but they managed not only to keep it thin, but not to overcook it! My friend ordered the chili and Seabass, which was quite a large portion. It looks like it came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. And we had a round loaf of bread and butter. Everything was really good, and reminds me I need to go back again

Wow, the best ribs. When they say fall off the bone they mean literally won't stay on the bone. I had to eat it with a fork. We stumbled upon Salt Creek Grille on a weekend visit to Magic Mountain. I love the simplicity, reminded me of the atmosphere and decor of suburban restaurants where I grew up. Making food look good for Instagram is getting tiring. This place focuses their energy on service and taste. The rack of ribs comes with a side of fries which were also delicious. I made it through about a third and brought the rest home on a short plane trip through security- yes, they were that good. Come to Salt Creek Grille for good food, service , drinks and a good time.

Before COVID, there were three Salt Creek Grilles in California, now there is just this one In Valencia. Their restaurant is upscale and the service remarkable. I came with the wife and enjoyed a wonderful lunch, with a moderate amount of patrons being served. I would always recommend their freshly baked table bread, and at least one of their delicious appetizers. The menu is quite extensive and has the freshest seafood I've found locally. An interesting pairing was a scallop and pear salad, which was totally a nice combination of seafood and fruit and healthy too! It seems our theme was seafood, which not really anticipated, but there so many nice choices it was hard to choose. I really enjoyed the Chilean Sea Bass, which was served over mashed potatoes and asparagus with a sesame crust over the sea bass. The wife had the scallops, which were done just right. Finally, the wife had the crème brûlée, with a nice presentation of seasonal berries and a just a slight crisp topping. If in the Valencia area, I would recommend this restaurant to impress.

What a treat it is to come to this restaurant. How I miss the one in El Segundo. But the food here is just as delicious and great service. The bruschetta is so tasty to start with along with their house bread. The grilled scallop and pear salad is so refreshing and cleanses the palate. The entree of Chilean sea bass and the Caramelized scallop were so delicious. Finishing off with the vanilla creme brulee topped off the meal. Parking in the structure across from the restaurant.
